Storm Force Weather Update
Meteorologist Crystal Egger - Tuesday Morning
Back to Sunny & COLD!
Clearing skies overnight allowed temperatures across the Front Range to plummet into the single digits (above and below zero). We'll get the sunshine back today, but with fresh snow on the ground and light winds, our afternoon highs will struggle to get out of the 20s. Bundle up!
The rest of the week looks fairly quiet with just some passing clouds at time and moderating temperatures. While our readings will be in the chilly 30s we should start to see more 40s by the end of the week. The mountains may see some snow showers from time to time, but accumulation looks minimal. A cold front is forecast to move through Denver late Saturday into Sunday morning. At this point, the latest data coming into the Storm Force weather center suggests light snow by Saturday evening. Highs on Saturday will be seasonal before the front arrives, cooler by Sunday.
Stay with FOX 31 NEWS for the latest information on this approaching storm system.
