Storm Force Weather Update
Meteorologist Dave Fraser - Friday PM
Today has been another fairly sunny day with temperatures hit the 70s again. It's not a record setter, but still very warm for this time of year. Tonight skies will clear and temperatures will cool into only the 40s! It's been a great way to end out the work week.
Weekend Weather
Although the warmer weather sticks around through the weekend, we aren't expecting any record highs. Temperatures will fall into the lower 70s in Denver on Saturday, lower 60s by Sunday with increasing clouds. The next storm arrives Sunday night with a chance of light rain, possibly mixing with a few wet snowflakes. This doesn't look like a strong storm. The good news is that now it appears that Monday will start off with a rain or snow shower, but sunshine and drier weather will move in during the afternoon. But, temperatures drop into the upper 40s/lower 50s on Monday. It's still an improvement for the Broncos game which will now be dry, but chilly.
