Broncos vs. Ravens: Troy Aikman says...
Earlier in the week, I wrote an NFL blog that contained my Broncos- Ravens prediction towards the end. For those of you who missed it, here it is again:

"On to the Broncos, and that knuckle-knocker of a game against the Ravens this Sunday-

Both teams will be well rested, and well prepared. Even at 3-3, the Ravens represent the best defense the Broncos have faced all year, and their offense has newfound potency under the guidance of quarterback Joe Flacco.

I expect the Denver Broncos to try to keep the Ravens off-balance with misdirection. They can't hit them square in the face, so they'll attack at angles. The Ravens will have to execute flawlessly on offense to win this thing.

I think the Broncos defense comes up with a couple of key turnovers, sets up the offense on a short field, and the Broncos escape with an incredibly hard-fought 17-13 win."

I interviewed Troy Aikman Thursday, in a segment that airs Saturday night in Double Coverage. Not to be my own spoiler, but Troy mentioned a good point: Whichever team has more urgency in this game will likely win. The Broncos are cruising, the Ravens, gasping for air at 3-3.

Go figure, just because you're a 3-time Super Bowl Champion and double Hall of Famer (college and pro), you think you know a little something about the game.

Aikman's point is valid, and it's starting to burn a hole in my brain.

I'm not going to change my pick of a Broncos win, but I'll admit, I'm having some serious concerns whether or not they stay unbeaten.
