DENVER -
An Administrative Judge is deciding whether former ICE Agent Cory Voorhis should get his job back. Voorhis was fired after he accessed a restricted criminal data base.
He gave information about illegal alien plea bargains to the Republican candidate in Colorado's 2006 Governor's race. Voorhis says it was okay for him to give information to candidate Bob Beauprez, because Beauprez was Congressman at the time.
He also claims his supervisor, Tony Rouco, knew what he had done and supported him. Rouco denied that today.
But it was revealed that an internal investigation determined Rouco was lying about what he knew and when he knew it, and that he also lied during his testimony during the federal criminal trial.
Voorhis was acquitted in that trial.
The hearing continues tomorrow.
