O.J. Simpson Low-Speed Bronco Chase

O.J. Simpson on the run. June 17, 1994.

It was 15 years ago today that millions of American were glued to their T.V. sets watching one of the nation's most beloved athletes attempt to flee police, and accusations of murder, in a white Ford Bronco driven by a friend.

The athlete, of course, was O.J. Simpson, who would later stand trial for the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

The bizarre scene unfolded along Interstate 405 through Los Angeles as Simpson's friend, Al Cowlings, led police on a low-speed chase with the Hall of Fame NFL running back-turned-actor riding in the passengers' seat.

Cowlings told authorities that Simpson was holding a gun to his head.

The chase ended uneventfully several hours later when the Bronco arrived at Simpson's Brentwood home and "The Juice" surrendered to police.

Simspson, of course, beat the murder rap but was later convicted in a civil trial and ordered to pay the Goldman and Brown families $12.5 million.

Where were you the day of the low-speed chase? How do you feel the Simpson case has changed America's criminal justice system, if at all?
