DENVER, Colo. - After a medical marijuana distributor was robbed in Boulder Tuesday, other metro area distributors are upping their security.

Andy Cookston owns Cannabis Medical on 8th and Kalamath in Denver. He sells medical marijuana, teas, candies and hash pills to people with a license.

Cookston already has security cameras, and a full-time security guard, but after the Boulder robbery he has decided to add some panic buttons to his business.

"They'll be installed by 10 o'clock (Thursday)," he said.

He believes his business was "cased" within the last week, possibly by the same people who robbed the Boulder business. He says two men got out of a black Escalade, like the one connected to the Boulder crime.

"Two guys came in with chests puffed up and said let me see the weed," Cookston said.

He says the men showed a license, but he turned them away because someone else was listed as the caregiver on the license.

"It could have been those same guys, and all I can say is thank God!" Cookston said.

Boulder Police have identified the suspects in Tuesday's robbery as David Henderson, 40, of Denver; Justin St. John, 29, of Denver; Walter Carter, 21, of Aurora; and Lamar McGee, 22, of Lakewood.
