"The dream of having this women in paradise is a real dream and honestly many of us were willing to die for Allah, to go to paradise to have sex with these women," said Dr Tawfik Hamid who was once a radicalized Islamic Terrorist on the streets of Cairo.
When the leaders of his group asked him to kill a Egyptian Police officer the man who was once ready to fight in Afghanistan turned and now works to fight radicalism at a major Washington Think Tank.
He is in Denver to lecture to a group called Act 4 America. (Click here for his schedule)
He once worked with Aiman Al-Zawahair, Al-Qaeda's number deputy commander, "his ambition to control work with Islam his hatred to the west was based on the freedom we haveĀ .the dream of causing damage to America is still there the intention to destroy America is still there," said Hamid.
Hamid has lectured around the world and most recently at the Pentagon about how to best combat terror. He says that the Obama administration's policies of shutting down the prison at Guantanamo Bay and other moves have only emboldened Al-Qaeda and homegrown terrorists like Najibula Zazi.
"The number of terrorist attacks in 2009 dramatically increased this is partially if not mainly because the terrorist perceived some action from the government as elements of weakness."
