Fatal DIA crash suspect arrested for bond violation
A Centennial woman accused of killing two librarians from Connecticut in a drunk driving crash on Pena Boulevard earlier this year is back in jail.

Sandra Lee Jacobson was arrested Wednesday for violating the terms of her bond. Court papers say a probation officer saw Jacobson driving a BMW to a leadership and ethics conference in Denver last month.

A hearing to reconsider her bond has not been set.

Jacobson faces two counts of vehicular homicide for the February crash that claimed the lives of 54-year-old Kathy Krasniewicz and 71-year-old Kate McClelland. Police say Jacobson was intoxicated when her pickup truck sideswiped a cab carrying the two women to Denver International Airport.

The taxi driver sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Jacobson was also convicted of DUI in Douglas County in 2006.
