DENVER -
Since happiness comes from within, in the world of Yoga, it makes sense that much more happiness can come from going green! At least that is what one yoga studio owner is hoping.
Free Soul Yoga, located at 1947 S. Broadway, is showing off their new digs, which is made-up of about 80% recycled material.
"We have used telephone poles, used lockers, 55-gallon oil drums, and even a used high school basketball gym floor in use here," said Tod Thompson, the owner. "Our whole goal is to go as green as we can to do our part to save the planet."
The studio has state-of-the-art locker rooms, with tropical style showers also made from recycled materials and even the doors, and windows are 'green'.
As far as the classes go, "We have some of the top instructors in Denver and offer everything from yoga for beginners to very advanced classes," said Thompson.
Free Soul Yoga is open Monday through Saturday at their South Broadway location.
