Denver police officer involved in crash
DENVER - A Denver police sergeant is recovering from a traffic crash late last night.

Denver police say the officer was on duty and driving north on Colorado near Alameda in his unmarked patrol car.

The driver of an SUV was coming from the opposite direction and police say he made a left turn in front of the police car.

The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll but the driver was able to get out on his own.

The police officer was transported to a Denver hospital and he's expected to be okay.
