We're Number One!
DENVER - The Pew Research Center's new survey sez, "Denver is the most desirible city in America!"

The results are not anything people living here didn't already know, our secret has been kept on the down-low for decades. People like visiting in winter, so often times they think all of Colorado get the 200 inches of snow the high-country gets. This year Denver's snow total is only about 13 inches... by contrast, my old stomping grounds in upstate New York--Syracuse--has recieved more than 122" and counting, there it snows until May or June.

Forty-three percent of those in the survey say Denver was the city they would most like to live in if they had a choice of living in the nation's top 30 cities. In the top five Denver was followed by Seattle, San Diego, Tampa and Orlando. The bottom five, all east of the Mississip were Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Detroit.

From the Mayor to the Governor to the folks on the streets, most know why we live, work and play here... it's not New York or L.A. Not that they are bad places, but driving, parking, and just going from here to there are a royal pain.

Sunshine, mountains and outdoor recreation are big on the list, but so is quality of life and plus this is a great place to raise young-ins.

D-town is the choice... but you already knew that, right?
