DENVER - Imagine 500 vehicles spread out over five football fields.
That's the scene at the Colorado Convention Center where the annual Denver Auto Show is taking place over the next five days.
From Acura to Audi, Lamborghini to Lincoln, just about every type of car, truck and van imaginable, even a Corvette Stingray "Concept Car.
"Its great eye candy," says Scott Settlemire, Manager of Shows and Exhibits for Chevrolet and Cadillac. "It brings people into the display, stretches the imagination."
And nothing stretches the imagination quite like the Stingray Concept Car.
"The interior has an LED and Next-Generation electronics," says Settlemire.
None of the vehicles are for sale. Instead, the 5-day auto show is meant to allow consumers to compare and contrast "without the pressure of salespeople."
Admission is $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for children ages seven through twelve. Wednesday, seniors 65 and over are free.
The Denver Auto Show runs through Sunday.
