Chargers' Cromartie suspected in bloody bar fight
San Diego Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie is being investigated for allegedly hitting a man in the head with a champagne bottle just hours after the Chargers routed the Denver Broncos 32-3 at Invesco Field.

Police say Cromartie, who had an interception during Sunday's game, was celebrating with two teammates at a San Diego bar early Monday morning when the alleged incident occurred.

Witnesses told police that champagne was being sprayed back and forth between Cromartie's group and other bar patrons, but the mood changed and someone threw a bottle.

TMZ obtained a photograph purportedly showing the victim with a cut on his head. He did not require hospitalization.

Some witnesses told police that Cromartie threw the bottle, but there are conflicting stories from other witnesses.

Cromartie was not arrested and the case was being turned over to the San Diego city attorney.
