FOX 31's Deborah Takahara teams up with America's Most Wanted to help capture some of Colorado's Most Wanted fugitives.

John Walsh, host of "America's Most Wanted" said it best during a recent visit to Denver, "It's about justice. It's about getting some closure for the victims. It's about ending that pain for lots and lost of people."

At the local level, Fox 31 News has teamed up with local law enforcement agencies to feature criminals and unsolved crime cases. Fugitives like murder suspect Kurt Sonnenfeld, know they are wanted. Sonnenfeld is accused of killing his wife in January 2002. He was a freelance photographer who did work with FEMA after the 9-11 terrorist attack, so his case got national attention. He has been on the run for a while, but police believe he could be in contact with people in the Denver area. Sonny Jackson, spokesperson for the Denver Police Department said, "we've found in many cases, people go away for a while and then they come back."

Sometimes, it's families that need help. The Sanchez family is still mourning the loss of their son 3 years ago, and his killer is still on the run. The FBI is now involved in the search for Francisco Murillo. Other families are searching for answers. Bruce Harrell's mother has no idea who killed him as he made his way home from a basketball game in 2006. His killer has never been identified or caught. Dianne Harrell said, "the day I give up is the day I have no breath left in my body." Some of these families have put up their own reward money. All tips can be called in anonymously.

All these people need your help. If you have information about an unsolved crime or one of the fugitives we have featured, pick up the phone and call. John Walsh said, "I never give up. We have caught guys who've been out there for over 20 years. It's all about justice. It's all about ending the case."
