ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Brandon Marshall reported to Denver Broncos training camp on Monday, despite his efforts to force a trade.

Marshall, a gifted but troubled wide receiver, missed the team's offseason workouts while recovering from hip surgery. He later skipped a mandatory team minicamp to protest his $2.2 million dollar salary and -what he viewed as- the team's misdiagnosis of his injury last season.

Broncos management has given no indication that it plans to trade Marshall, who is coming off back-to-back 100-catch seasons and his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Marshall has found trouble for much of his tenure with the Broncos. Since joining the team in 2006, he has been cited in seven police reports in three different states and Puerto Rico.

He was suspended one game last season as a result of violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

A police report obtained by FOX 31 News shows Marshall made disparaging remarks about the city of Denver in 2007. On October 22nd of that year, Marshall was arrested for DUI and, according to police, told them "I hate Denver. I hope I get traded."
