Police: Beauty salon burglars strike again
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. - John Nguyen knew the news was not good when his phone rang after 3 a-m. "It was the sheriff's office telling me that my salon had been broken into," says Nguyen, who co-owns United Nails and Hair in Centennial.

Nguyen is not alone.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office says 5 other Centennial businesses were broken into overnight and 1 in Foxield.

Greenwood Village Police also say 3 businesses in their city were broken into. All of the businesses are nail or tanning salons or dry cleaners.

Money appears to be the motive in all the break-ins.

Over Labor Day weekend close to 10 shops in Aurora were also targets. Arapahoe County Deputies don't know for sure if the crimes are related. Authorities are waiting for surveillance tape from some of the businesses to see how many suspects might be involved.

A total of $140 dollars was taken from the shops in Arapahoe County.

No money was taken from John Nguyen's United Nails and Hair. Despite a broken-out front door, Nguyen wants to make sure customers know: "we're open for business!"
