Medicine Horse Program

The Medicine Horse Program helps kids through interaction with horses.

BOULDER -

Hundreds of children are removed from abusive homes and placed in temporary care in Colorado each year.

There is a program in Boulder that helps those kids heal, while at the same time, the kids help other victims of abuse.  It’s a horse program, and these great children help horses that will abused and rescued.

Karolyn Gazella from the Medicine Horse Program and therapist Tim Bender joined Shaul Turner during Good Day Colorado Wednesday.

The Medicine Horse Program is a non-profit organization.  Since 2001, the organization has worked to help abused and neglected children through interaction with horses.

These horses are young foals that have been abandoned or neglected.  They too heal from the love of the children in need.

Visit the Medicine Horse Program website for information about how you can support the program or sponsor a child, or call (720) 406-7630.
