Josina Anderson

Josina "JoJo" Anderson (aka. the Denver Sports Insider) is a producer/reporter for FOX 31 Sports in Denver, Colorado. Josina produces the nightly sportscasts and covers the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and the Colorado Rockies.

Josina started her career at the CBS affiliate in Coos Bay, Oregon as a sports anchor/reporter. From Oregon, she moved to Washington D.C. as a sports reporter covering the Washington Redskins, Washington Wizards, Georgetown Hoyas, and the Maryland Terrapins for several local cable shows including the Sideline Report, the Round Ball Report, and Redskins Magazine. Josina also hosted her own weekly radio sports segment on WKYS 93.9 called ScoopCenter.

Since moving to Denver, Josina has broken numerous local and national sports stories including: the multiple positive tests for water pills in the NFL under the steroid policy; the tragic passing of Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams and Broncos running back Damien Nash; failed drug tests involving both NFL running backs Ricky Williams and Travis Henry, and a season-ending injury to Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson, among other major stories.

In 2009, Josina received a Heartland Emmy award for "A Premonition to Addis Ababa," the story about Colorado Crush quarterback John Dutton's voyage to Ethiopia and his adoption of an 11-year-old boy.

Josina is a former University of North Carolina Tarheels track-and-field runner, AAU Junior Olympic gold medalist, and classical ballet soloist with the American Youth Ballet who completed residency programs with both the Pennsylvania Ballet & the Dance Theatre of Harlem.
